Timmons Lunch Bunch

Congratulations to Timmons Elementary School Students selected for Lunch Bunch honors in November.

The following kindergartners honored with “honesty” awards were Alan Jeffrey Bockmuller, Ryan Flynn, Brynn Johnson, Madison Minich, Zachary Mosnik, Anthony Tomaselli and Adeline Traylor. First-graders honored were Cody Carlson, Brynn Krahe, Jared Lechak, Mallory Moran, Lily Rieger, Rebecca Shafer and Marin Walz.

Second-graders were Gunnar Didier, Josephine Ianiro, Hannah, Makesh, Alison Manis, Gavin Meine, Francis Messner, Sophia Strauss and Thomas Wilson; and third-graders were Benjamin Burlinghaus, Harrison Frampton, Jeremy Hajdu, Emerald Hall, Jonathan King, Elena Lupoli, Devan McCabe, Benjamin Serafin and Tegan Wood.

One School, One Book Club

Timmons Elementary School kicked off its sixth annual One School, One Book program during an assembly with a skit including musicians from the Cleveland Institute of Music and local Accent on Youth performers. The giant book club has connections in all parts of the curriculum through daily announcements, trivia, vocabulary, a service learning project and online interactive dialogue with one of the main characters.

KIS Students of the Month

Kenston Intermediate School is pleased to announce their Students of the Month for November.

Students selected for Student of the Month honored with “honesty” awards were fourth-graders Zoey Cosgrove, Mary Cowan, Carter Flynn, Ethan Gertsburg, Micah Greenberg, Sam Jacobs, Madison Jones, Robert Phillips, Madeline Ramsey, Carson Simms and Niko Stupika; and fifth-graders Michael Benza, Valerie Brown, Kelsi Currington, Angelo DeLuca, Rachel Fender, Claudette Jones, Nya Ku, Kaitley Kwasniewski, Ryan Peters, Jenna Stretch and Miranda Wood.

Speech and Debate Update

Kenston High School Speech and Debate team competed in the Chagrin Falls Tournament. Congratulations go to Emily Herbruck, who was awarded fifth place in Expository Speaking. She has collected two of the four bids needed to automatically qualify for the state speech tournament in March.
