Teacher Speaks to Business Association
Jay Schach, Entrepreneurial Learning Institute and business teacher at Chagrin Falls High School, had the opportunity to talk at The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) workshop at the Federal Building in downtown Cleveland on Nov. 18. The topic for the workshop was “Your Career: Running it like a Small Business.”
Some of the highlights of the workshop covered the difference between a small business owner and a small business entrepreneur, what makes a person an entrepreneur, current trends and how to develop the entrepreneur thinking in a large organization. Schach shared ideas and concepts from the workshop with his business students at the high school. He was requested by the organization to give a second presentation in the spring 2015.
