Down on the farm,

Christmas will be celebrated with unusual charm.

Cows will have been milked and well fed,

And then made ready for bed.

As they lay quietly and warm in the barn,

The farm family has made sure they are safe from harm.

Even though tomorrow will be Christmas Day,

The cows still need to be fed their grain and hay.

And they need to be milked with compassion and care,

Providing quality milk is something they like to share.

Our dairy farm family likes to enjoy Christmas Day,

And they know good cow care is one way.

With the cows milked, fed and other chores done,

They are ready to go in the house and share some fun.

Remembering the birth of Christ Jesus is part of this day,

And they will observe this important event in a special way.

With family prayers they will say,

That they worship the Lord Jesus on this important day.

Then the angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Luke, 2:10-11, New King James Version.

We do wish for each one of you a very merry Christmas and blessed New Year.
