Chip Henry Awards Nominations
Nominations are being accepted by Friends of CASA for Kids for the 2015 Chip Henry Award in honor of the late Chip Henry who served as Geauga County juvenile judge from 1991 to 2011. The nominations are open to all Geauga County residents and will be awarded to one high school student and one adult.
Applications must be submitted by April 4 and are available at www.friendsofcasa.org.

Peace Lutheran Camp
Peace Lutheran Church, 12686 Bass Lake Road, Munson, extends an open invitation to children, ages preschool and up, to the annual Kids Fun Camp being held March 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be a Puppets of Peace show, music, crafts, flower planting and refreshments. Celebrate Recovery
Morning Star Friends Church, 12555 Ravenna Road, Munson, will hold the next meeting of the Christian 12-step addiction program at 7 p.m., April 1. The meetings are free and offer support and encouragement to those seeking to overcome any substance addiction.
There will be fellowship and a free meal served at 6:15 p.m. Pre-registration is not necessary.

NAMI Peer Support Group
The Geauga County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will hold a peer support group meeting at 7 p.m. April 2 at the Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services, 13244 Ravenna Road, Munson. The monthly meetings provide education, support and advocacy to those affected by mental illness and their families.

Shutterbugs Camera Club
The Shutterbugs Camera Club will hold its monthly meeting April 2 at 7 p.m. at the Chardon Library’s Bostwick Room. The meetings are free and open to all ages of photography enthusiasts who are encouraged to bring in their work for friendly critiques.

Free Sunday Dinner
St. Luke Episcopal Church 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson, offers an open invitation to a free Sunday dinner April 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Fellowship Room. There will be a choice of soups, breads, salads, desserts and more.
Donations are not necessary, but will be appreciated. To help prepare or serve the dinner, or for more information, call 440-285-4641.
Tri-County Coin Club
The Tri-County Coin Club will meet April 9 at 6:45 p.m., at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson. Following a short business meeting, there will be a 40-plus-lot coin auction, door prizes, coin displays and more.
The monthly meetings are free and open to coin collectors of all ages. Pre-registration is not necessary.

One-Day Appliance Collection
A free appliance collection will be held April 12, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Geauga County Engineer’s Yard, 12665 Merritt Road, Munson. Television sets and e-waste will not be accepted.

Register For Senior Trash Pickup
The Munson Township Road Department and the Geauga County Department on Aging are offering a free trash collection for Munson’s senior residents to be held April 20-23. Seniors must be registered with the Geauga County Department on Aging for this service.
To register and obtain a list of acceptable items to be collected, call the Chardon Senior Center at 440-279-2130.
