Wine, Cheese & “Music Man”

On May 1, the Geauga Council for Arts and Culture (GCAC) kicks off its 2015 membership drive with a night to celebrate Geauga Lyric Guild’s production of “The Music Man.”

Attendees are invited to gather any time from 6-7:45 p.m. at artist Dennis Killeen’s loft perched above historic Chardon Square to enjoy gourmet snacks and mingle with the creative team behind “The Music Man” before the 8 p.m. show.

The event is free, but registration is required. Attendees will receive a special discount ticket code for the May 1 performance with their completed registration.

Words and Wine

Poetry readings will take place May 5 at Your Vine or Mine, 154 Main St. in Painesville.

Open mic at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by featured poet Mary Biddinger, who will read from her four collections of poetry, including her most recent titled “A Sunny Place with Adequate Water.” Tobin Terry will be hosting.
