Mayfield Youth Theatre will hold auditions for its November production of “Seussical” in Mayfield United Methodist Church’s worship center, 7747 Mayfield Road, Chester Township.

39 Steps Lead to Hilarity
Geauga Lyric Theater’s 61st season is opening with a classic on Sept. 11. “The 39 Steps” may be familiar to some as an Alfred Hitchcock movie, but director Art Suskin loves the play.
According to Suskin, “There is surprising interplay of an exciting spy story with some of the silliest and funniest scenes you will ever see; four actors playing 120-plus roles at breakneck speed. What a delight,”
Caleb Venman plays Richard Hannay, while Cara Battaglia plays three characters. The “clowns” of the show, who rush from character to character, are Justin Simons and Evan Graham.
The show runs through Sept. 27, Fridays through Sundays.
