Board of Trustees Candidates
Irene McMullen and Lenore Pikus have filed to run for the one Munson Township Board of Trustees seat up for election Nov. 3.
McMullen has served as a trustee since 2010 and Pikus has served as a volunteer on the zoning commission since 2010 and as its chairperson since 2014.
Trustees’ terms run four years. Both candidates are open to residents’ concerns regarding the township. Call McMullen at 440-729-0457 or cell 440-796-6825, or Pikus at 440-488-0969.

Tri-County Coin Club
The Tri-County Coin Club will meet at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 10 at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson. Following a short business meeting, there will be a 50-plus-lot coin auction, door prizes and coin displays.

Children in Need of Parents
A public information meeting regarding the adoption or fostering of children in need of homes and parents will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at Geauga County Job & Family Services, 12480 Ravenwood Drive, Munson.

Bass Lake Preserve Canoe & Campfire
The Geauga Park District will have its next Canoe & Campfire event Sept. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Bass Lake Preserve, 11445 Lakeview Drive, Munson. Youth ages 10 plus accompanied by an adult with basic skills are welcome. Required registration begins Sept. 11 by calling 440-286-9516.
