Feathers and Fleece 4-H Club met on Aug. 20 to prepare for fair. It’saac took roll call.

The group discussed ideas for the poultry barn display and Junior Fair building booth on the theme “Blue Jeans and Country Dreams.”

Annie, the club president, issued instructions on how the chickens, turkeys and ducks will be prepared for the buyers. Yes, poultry will be available for sale this year in the Junior Fair Livestock Sale on Sept. 5 at 2:30 p.m. in the tent and 5 p.m. in the arena.

Emily reported on the club’s bank balance.

Don’t forget to join Feathers and Fleece for this year’s Great Geauga County Fair Sept. 3-7. (Submitted by Jessica Burden, news reporter)
