Student Council Elected

Congratulations to the 2015-16 Kenston High School Student Council officers. They are: Shelby Zenobi, president; Jessica Sciuva, vice president; Hannah Richardson, treasurer; and Caroline Madden, secretary.

Freshman Class Officers

Freshman class officers were elected by their peers. Representing the class of 2019 are: Colin Montville, president; Tia Speece, vice president; Gabrielle Powell, secretary; and Billy Glime, treasurer.

Gibas Cross Country Invitational

On Sept. 5, Beachwood, Berkshire, Boardman, Brush, Chagrin Falls, Chardon (girls), Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (girls), Eastlake North, Garfield Heights, Independence, Kenston, Lakewood, Mayfield, Orange, Painesville Riverside, Solon, University, Walsh Jesuit, West Geauga and Willoughby South will compete in the third annual Frank Gibas Cross Country Invitational beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The course runs through the campus and on the wooded Kenston trails. Admission is $5 per car, benefitting Kenston Athletic Boosters.

All In Kenston

All In Kenston! Kenston Athletic Boosters, Bomber Elite, Musical Arts Association of Kenston, PTO and Kenston Community Education invite the Kenston community to attend the annual Kick-off Classic Tailgate on Sept. 4 before the football game against Chardon.

Pregame activities and food sales begin at 5:30 p.m. Feed the family for $5 per person. Be part of the “tradition.” Wear Bomber blue; it is a Blue-out.

Will Train Bus Drivers

Kenston Transportation Department needs individuals with current CDL school bus endorsement for contract or substitute driver positions. Trans-portation is willing to train drivers. For more information, contact Mrs. Melody Coniglio at 440-543-9567.
