KIT Wrestling Tournament
Kenston High School will host the 51st annual Kenston Invitational Wrestling Tournament (KIT) on Dec. 27 and 28.
Speech and Debate
At the Vermilion Tournament, Jessica Sunderhaft placed fourth in Program of Oral Interpretation, earning her first bid to the state competition. Colin Montville and Tia Speece finished fourth in Duo Competition while Nick Vitello took fifth place in Humor.
KHS Students of the Month
Congratulations to Kenston High School Students of the Month for January.
Selected for special recognition were freshmen Sofija Raudins and Peyton Roth; sophomores Tyran Smith and Sarah Ward; juniors Sam Kiley and Kate Powell; and seniors Abby Singleton and Mike Thigpen.
Gift of Music
Kenston wishes everyone the joy of the holiday season. The winter concert season culminated with a performance featuring the high school concert winds, jazz trio, chorale, chorus, flute choir, symphonic band, jazz ensemble, varsity jazz and brass quintet. More than 220 students under the direction of Mrs. Julia Green, Mr. Jeff Link and Mr. Scott Sell shared the gift of music with a capacity audience.
