Timothy “TJ” Malkus, of Burton, was named to the dean’s list at The Ohio State University for the spring semester. ?TJ is studying engineering and recently completed his sophomore year at the main campus.
Ann O’Brien, of Chardon, earned a bachelor of science with a concentration in physics from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She also earned dean’s list honors for the spring semester.
Local students named to the dean’s list for the second semester at Miami University were: Jason Cordiak, Katherine Coverdale, Samuel Levy, Joshua Sekerak, Jacob Silbermann, Cole Southworth, Andrew Stanonis, Nicholas Steele, Harley Vossler, Andrew Wakefield and Oliver Zak, all of Chagrin Falls; Adam Benjamin, Carita Haverlock, Brianna Lang, Samuel Wilkes and Joshua Winton, all of Chardon; Christopher Doles, Thomas Ritz and Tucker Solon, all of Chester Township; Chaz Glick, of Russell Township; and Austin Nar, of Thompson.
Alison Cash, of Auburn; Bryse Cirjak, of Burton; Mackenzie Barnwell, Kayla Braun and Charles Manocchio, all of Bainbridge; Samantha Grippe, of Chardon; Francesca Cunningham, of Chesterland; and Nicole Babiak, of Russell Township, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Findlay for the spring semester. Cash earned a 4.0 grade point average for the semester.
Brooke N. Bender, a rising senior neuroscience major at Dickinson College, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. A graduate of Chardon High School, she is the daughter of David and Lynn Bender of Chardon.
Geordi Kogovsek, a 2013 graduate of West Geauga High School, has graduated magna cum laude from Northwood University in Midland, Mich., with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and finance.
