Art Teacher Honored
Carol Leikala, art teacher at Berkshire Junior-Senior High School and 30-plus year educator, was recently awarded the eXpressions Teacher Celebration Award from Cleveland Clinic eXpressions, an education initiative that engages Ohio students in “the creative exploration of science and medicine.” She was recognized for over five years of dedication to the program through which students interpret research studies to produce artistic, literary and mathematical interpretations of the science.
