School Supplies Donated
Extra school supplies and backpacks are on hand for students thanks to generous donations from two area businesses and one local church. Great Day Child Care Learning Center in Middlefield donated 70 backpacks filled with supplies; Gold Key/HEXPOL donated 72 backpacks and pencils, and members of Agape Word and Worship Center in Aurora donated several boxes of school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, and binders.
“This is just fantastic,” says Jordak Principal Kelly Bearer. “All of these donated items will help ensure student success in the classroom. You never know who might be in need of something or who forgot something, so being able to assist students easily is key to getting their day off to a positive start.”
