Lakeland Civic Theatre
The Lakeland Civic Theatre presents “The Last Five Years,” an award-winning musical running Sept. 16 through Oct. 2 in the college’s Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center, 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland. Free parking is available.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $7 for students. Tickets can be purchased by calling 440-525-7134 or online at lakelandcc.edu/arts.
GANG Visits Innovative Arts
Sept. 20, 6:30 p.m.
The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) will be visiting Innovative Arts, 8095 Mayfield Road in Chester Township for an introduction to some of the many local artists whose works are featured there. Guest will be Peg Ritt, director of Innovative Arts, who will be speaking about her goal of providing local artists with a welcoming studio and gallery space where they can develop, display and sell their work.
Host for the evening will be photographer Frank Fende, and there will be surprise appearances by some of the many artists whose works are currently on display.
Innovative Arts also offers a variety of classes and seminars for continuing arts education.
GANG members will be providing light refreshments. The program is free and open to the general public.

Call For Art Show Entries

Burton Public Library is looking for entries for the 2016 Burton Art Show. Artists 16 years and older who live, work or attend school in Geauga or Lake counties are invited to submit their work at the library located at 14588 W. Park St. in Burton.
A nonrefundable entry fee of $10 per item, or three for $25, is due payable by cash or check on entry night. Artists may submit up to three works.
