Grant Helps Make a Difference

A First Energy Educator Grant will allow students in Mr. Christian Barrus’ physics classes to use their basic circuitry knowledge and skills to modify and adapt toys to interface with an adaptive controller for a special needs child. The workshop provided by RePlay for Kids will result in 40 new electronic toys rewired by high school students for external input connections. The toys will be distributed to special needs children in Northeast Ohio.

Silver Bells Holiday Boutique

Kenston’s High School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting the Silver Bells Boutique on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kenston High School, 9500 Bainbridge Road. The show will feature over 80 unique local vendors, junior craft vendors, cookie sale and raffle prizes. The fundraiser supports Kenston AfterProm and sustainable energy projects at Timmons Elementary School.
