Braided-n-Banded
The Braided-n-Banded Geauga 4-H Horse Club has been busy the past couple months completing service projects to help people in Geauga County.
Club members made over 10 no sew fleece blankets that will be combined with other blankets collected by Geauga County 4-H clubs and then distributed to veterans in Geauga County at the Geauga County Fair.
School supplies were also collected for the “Help me Learn Day” event sponsored by Geauga County Job and Family Services.
The club also collected food donations for fighting hunger in Geauga County. The food donations were dropped off at a Geauga Hunger Task Force location.
Braided-n-Banded is getting ready for the Geauga County Fair by making decorations for the barn and stalls around the 4-H theme this year -“Country Roots and Cowboy Boots.” (Submitted by Diana Shale, news reporter)
