Breeders and Feeders

Breeders and Feeders 4-H Club will hold its next meeting June 29 at Huntsburg Town Hall. Poultry members will meet at 3:30 p.m. Rabbit and pig members will meet at 4 p.m. Pig members should bring a recipe and rabbit members will work on posters.

The business meeting will start and Cloverbuds will meet at 4:30 p.m.

All market projects will meet after business meeting and beef meeting will follow. All market project members should bring a handwritten buyers letter.

Committee chairmen will have reports. All candy money is due.

Assessments must be paid by this meeting to sell at fair. Cost is $5 per project.

Skillathon/project judging is July 19. If anyone is unable to attend, he or she must call the extension office by July 1 to go on July 9 for a written test.

Hoof trimming for beef projects will take place at fairgrounds on Aug. 2. Please contact Mrs. Walker to get on schedule for time.

On Aug. 2, volunteers are needed to run a game at the Munson Community Day picnic from noon to 5 p.m. Shifts can be set up. (Submitted by Mike Fenstermaker, news reporter)
