During first Green Fields 4-H Club meeting of the new year, members went over old business, including a recap of the club’s Christmas party in December. Members voted on donating money for one goat and six chickens through World Vision.
The club also voted on officer elections. They are: Kurt Pokopac, president; Danny Takacs, vice president; Josh Belliveau, secretary; Maggie Kolenic, health and safety; Amanda Kleve, news reporter; Ben Obringer and Tyler Holub, recreational; and Izzy Krzys, historian.
Green Fields got Honor Club for 2014. For a project, the group is painting the window at JC’s Restaurant in Burton.
Also, everyone introduced each other to the new members who joined the club. It was a great first meeting. (Submitted by Amanda Kleve, news reporter)
