Geauga Beef and Swine 4-H Club held a meeting on March 8 at the Chardon Pizza Hut. Members did pledges, roll call and read minutes from the last meeting. In the treasurer’s report, the balance was the same. This year’s theme was announced in the Junior Fair Board report. It is “From blue jeans to country dreams with Junior Fair.”
From the sales committee meeting, the fair board is running the sale and the sales committee is rewriting its constitution.
The window display was put up on March 7 at Maple Dale Farm. It was motioned that the club will be donating the money to the Family-A-Fair project. The forms were passed out to participate in the OSU Junior Swine Day. The club also decided that it will be selling candy bars again this year.
The next meeting will be at Ernst Lanes in Chardon on April 19. (Submitted by Zachary Frank, news reporter)
