At Breeders and Feeders 4-H Club’s March meeting rabbits and cavies discussed name tags for fair and showmanship do’s and don’ts. Poultry talked about the parts of an egg and what to look for in feed.
Swine tagging needs to be done by May 20. Members should be setting up for their hogs, looking for buyers and where to buy a hog and what to look for. They also need to pick a topic for a report for the board at fair.
Beef worked on their books and talked about Skill-A-Thon. Quality Assurance is May 14 and Skill-A-Thon is July 16.
