The Beatles in Cleveland”

June 28, 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Listen to the Fab Four’s music and view “mop-top” memorabilia 30 minutes before and after Dave Schwensen’s program. The evening’s highlights will include films of the Beatles riotous concerts at Cleveland Public Hall in 1964 and Municipal Stadium in 1966.

Firework Fun
July 2, 3 p.m.
Using scratch art paper, kids will create a firework masterpiece. Firework popsicles will be served.

Lego Club
July 3, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Youth ages 5 and older mayspend time building Lego creations.

Mark the Magician

Join as Mark the Magician wows youth with his fantastic magical show.
Mark the Magician’s Magic Class
July 10, 17 and 24, 1 p.m.
Mark the Magician will teach a three-part magic class to all aspiring magicians and magic lovers in grades 2-5. Registration is required.
Knitting Rocks 
July 11 and 18, 6-8 p.m.
Youth ages 9 and older may join Ms. Jamie as she teaches the basics of knitting. Participants will learn about yarn and needle selection, the knit and purl stitch and will make a small hat. Needles and yarn provided. Registration required.

STEAM Program: Tech Petting Zoo
July 12, 1 p.m.
Explore some of the most exciting and educational tech gadgets. Experiment hands-on with the technology, promoting skills in programming, computational thinking and coding in a fun and interactive way. Brought by NEO-RLS.

Geocaching

July 12, 6:30 p.m.

Geocaching is a high-tech game of hide-and-seek using a GPS unit. The object of geocaching is to locate a container hidden out of sight. Learn how GPS works and discover all the fun activities and interesting places to explore when participating in geocaching.

STEAM Program: Robotics Camp
July 13, 20 and 27, 2-4 p.m.
In SpaceBOTs Strike Back, youth in grades 4-8 will learn how to build and program robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robots to overcome any challenge the evil empire throws their way. Registrants must attend all three sessions. Registration is required.

Acoustic Rock with Bobby Fritz

July 25, 6:30 p.m.  

Bobby has opened for Blue Oyster Cult, Buckcherry and Saliva, just to name a few. In 2013, he played the halftime show at an Arizona Cardinals game in front of 60,000 people and has played many iconic Cleveland venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe’, The Agora, Peabody’s and more.

Arrowheads Rock

July 31, 6:30 p.m.

Mike Fath, of Burton, will demonstrate the tools of ancient locals and their uses. Come at 6 p.m. if one has arrowheads or other found relics to ask Mike about.
