At their June 26 meeting, Geauga County Commissioners recognized the Chardon High School Envirothon Red Team that placed first in the regional competition at Salt Fork State Park.
Members of the team include Erin Conway, Melanie Cohn, Madison Brady, Natalie Clark, Nicholas Schragal and advisor Marilyn Rohr.
Also recognized was West Geauga High School advisor Mike Sustin for his work with environmental studies and his Envirothon teams.
Teams from Ledgemont High School and Kenston High School also competed in the event.
