Grandparents and grandchildren may join Naturalist Nora Sindelar at the West Wood Nature Center for fun, hands-on indoor and outdoor activities celebrating the animals and plants of the spring. Beverages provided; please bring a snack to share.
Coffee With The Birds
March 26, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Brush up on Spanish for the park district’s bilingual birding program, Cafe` Con Las Aves. Drop in the West Woods Nature Center for some close-up bird viewing at the feeders while enjoying a hot beverage.
Summer Campers Unite
Registration opens March 20 for Geauga Park District’s 13th annual week-long summer day camps for youth entering grades 3 through 10.
Activities campers love include biking, fishing, kayaking, archery and stream exploration. All camps will be held on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in various parks depending on each week’s specific age groups and activities.
