Summer Campers Unite
Geauga Park District will host its 14th annual weeklong summer day camps for youth entering grades one through 10.
New this year is Nature Nymphs Day Camp, running June 29 through July 1 at The West Woods Nature Center for youth entering grades one and two. Also new is Nature Art Day Camp, July 20 through 24 at The West Woods, for teens entering grades eight through 10.
Additional camps include Junior Naturalist Day Camp at Swine Creek Reservation; Nature Adventure Day Camp beginning at Claridon Woodlands, with visits to Headwaters Park, Big Creek Park and Chickagami Park; and Nature Explorer Day Camp at The West Woods’ Affelder House.
Camps are held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Financial assistance is available.
Registration opens March 20 at 10 a.m. for county residents and March 27 at 10 a.m. for others. Visit the park district website for more information.
