Trick or Treat

Hambden Township follows what Chardon sets as its date for trick or treat. It will be held Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Please be sure all of the little ghosts and goblins are careful when trick or treating on Hambden’s country roads. The developments seem like a much better option for gathering candy and having fun. Have a safe and scary Halloween.

Ladies Helping Ladies

Hambden Elementary PTO invites all in-home party vendors to participate in its third annual Ladies Helping Ladies night from 6-9 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the school.

Cost is $20 for table space and a $10 door prize. Space is limited; reservations and table fees are due by Oct. 30.

Township Newsletters

The fall edition of “Hambden Highlights” should be in the mail this week. It contains much information about what’s been happening in the township.

Residents can also learn more about township plans and projects by attending one of the trustee meetings. They are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the township hall. We always enjoy and appreciate our residents’ attendance and input.

Trunk or Treat

Hambden Congregational Church is sponsoring a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick or treating. On Nov. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the church is hosting a Trunk or Treat event.

A free event for the whole family, the church will be serving chili and hot dogs as well as treats from trunks.
