Paving Project in Hambden
Hambden Township’s 2015 paving project is set to begin on or about June 1. The first road to be paved should be Penniman Drive. Others included in the project are Tudor Place, Teal and Heron drives, Regents Way and Bates Creek Drive.
Ronyak Bros Paving will be doing the project and traffic will be maintained during paving.
The entire project is going to take approximately six weeks. Trustees ask for the community’s patience during this time. The end result will definitely be worth any short-term inconvenience. Community Picnic Meeting
The next meeting of the picnic committee will be on June 16 at 7 p.m. at the township hall. There are several new faces on the committee and some great new ideas for this year’s 30th anniversary celebration. The committee can still use all the help it can get, so if anyone would like to be involved, please attend the meeting.
The committee is also looking for donations of items for the Chinese auction. To donate a new item, just drop it off at the township hall or give us a call for pickup.
