Help for Mental Illness
Geauga County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers support, education and advocacy for those affected by mental illness. Programs meet at the NAMI Geauga office located at 8389 Mayfield Road, Suite A-2 in Chester Township.
Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. Class begins Jan. 11
The Youth Mental Health First Aid training program on Jan. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. Cost is $40 and includes all materials and meals.
