Prescription Assistance Dinner
Sept. 14, 6 p.m.
The Northeast Ohio Prescription Assistance Program improves and maintains the health of those in our community every day. This past year the nearly a million dollars worth of prescription medicine was provided to those who unable to afford their medicine. This Ohio licensed non-profit pharmacy is a public health asset to those in Northeast Ohio. The prescription medicine is donated to the program by several large pharmacies.
The some of the monies to support our efforts come from United Way the Lake and Geauga County, Home Care of Lake County and Around the Clock Home Care. Volunteers from the Lake County RSVP provide the help to keep the program alive.
A fundraiser for the Prescription Assistance Program will be held on September 14, 2107 at 6:00 P.M. The event will be held at the Debonne Winery located at 7840 Doty Rd, Madison, Ohio. The evening experience will include wine tasting hosted by Tony and Beth Debevc, dinner and entertainment by Alex Bevan. One hundred percent of the monies raised will be used to support the Prescription Program. Anyone interested in attending this function should call Tim Brennan at 440-352-8536.
