2018 Immunization Clinics

The Geauga County Health District offers walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immunization record as well as a primary insurance card.

Bowling With STRIVE

Feb. 9, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Join STRIVE, a program designed for anyone ages 18-28 that is affected by or diagnosed with a mental illness, for a night of bowling at Ernst Lanes, 10561 Grant St. in Chardon.

Meet new people and enjoy free food and two free games of bowling.

Is Marijuana Harmless?

Feb. 13, 5:30-8 p.m.

The Chardon Community Action Team (CCAT) will present a panel discussion regarding whether or not marijuana is harmless at the Morning Star Friends Church, 12550 Ravenna Road, Chardon.

A free family dinner will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Tony Coder, Ohio Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee appointee and assistant director of Drug-Free Action Alliance, will lead the panel discussion from 6:30-8 p.m. Panelists include Judge Stupica, Chardon Municipal Court; Helen Ullman, licensed Geauga County pharmacist; Pastor Matt Chesnes, Morning Star Friend Church; Tony Coder, Assistant Drug-Free Action Alliance; and Beth Williams chief probation officer, Geauga County Juvenile Court.

Vetted childcare will be available; preregistration required. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
