The Geauga County General Health District offers walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18.

The Geauga County General Health District offers walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immunization record as well as a primary insurance card.

The following is a list of upcoming immunization clinics:

Chardon, July 13, Geauga Health District, 470 Center St., Building 8, 3-6 p.m.

Middlefield, July 19, First United Methodist Church, 14999 S. State Ave., 9-11:30 a.m.

Middlefield, July 20, First United Methodist Church, 14999 S. State Ave., 3-6 p.m.

American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

NAMI Support Group Speaker

July 17, 7-8:30 p.m.

NAMI Family and Friends Support Group presents “Is There an Upside to Bipolar” with guest speaker Patricia Firem in the NAMI annex room located at 107 South St., Chardon.

Dr. Firem will discuss the creative element that sometimes occurs with bipolar disorder and educate participants on the basics of this mental health condition.

LGRC Appreciation Day Picnic

Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers is holding their 18th annual Appreciation Day Picnic at Lake House, 796 Oak St. in Painesville. Guest speaker is Tracy Plouck, director of Ohio Mental Health & Addiction Services.
