Bloodmobile

An American Red Cross blood drive will take place at Munson Town Hall, 12210 Auburn Road, Munson Township. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

LGRCFamily Group Services
Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers is now offering family group services every Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in its Chardon office located at 209 Center St., Unit E, Chardon.
Facilitated by a licensed counselor, the program is open to spouses, partners, parents, siblings and other relatives and friends interested in learning about substance abuse and how it affects everyone. One does not need to have a loved one involved in treatment services in order to attend.
There is no charge for the family group, however, participants should call ahead to schedule a brief intake appointment.

Help For Mental Illness
Geauga County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers support, education and advocacy for those affected by mental illness.
NAMI Community Garden will be open every Saturday in September from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Morning Star Friends Church, 12550 Ravenna Road in Chardon. Come for free produce, support, to paint garden stones and exchange recipes.
