Government

Trustees meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

All township meetings are opened to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Call 440-636-5486 for more information. The next meeting is April 5.

Cemetery

Maintenance will be cleaning the cemetery and preparing it for Memorial Day services. If you have any items you wish to keep, please remove them. All old wreaths and items left at the graveside will be discarded.

No plantings are permitted. Artificial flowers or ornaments are permitted on the graves until they become weather beaten. The township is not responsible for damage or theft of such items and may remove them if they become unsightly.

Zoning

Zoning Inspector Frank S. Corrao III wishes to remind all residents to obtain a zoning permit prior to making any construction changes of any kind. He may be reached at 440-636-5486 ext. 3. Leave a message and he will return the call.

The zoning office receives many complaints this time of year about debris blowing off properties onto neighboring properties. Now is the time to clean up unwanted items on your property.

Recycle

All those catalogs you get in the mail, plus phone books, newspapers, school and office papers, magazines, paper back books and junk mail. Just bring them to the recycle bin at Huntsburg Recreation Park.

Did you know we are working hard to be environmentally friendly and that our recycle bin is there for the whole community to use? We even earn money for the paper we collect. This is a way you can support us without having to reach into your pocket.

We are a cardboard recycling facility. Shredded paper is accepted in clear plastic bags. Please put a small hole in the bag to allow air to escape but not the paper.

Thanks so much for recycling with us. Please keep our recycling center clean.
