On May 9, Saint Mary School held its first Invention Fair. The Invent America project combines many of the skills students are learning in math, science, language arts, social studies and writing.
The program is designed to help students learn and apply creative, problem-solving skills. The students develop these skills by creating their own inventions to solve everyday problems. Inventing offers the students hands-on-opportunities to develop the skills to meet the 21st century challenges. The sixth-grade students were up for the challenge.
