Mental Health Board Elects 2019 Officers

The mental health board is responsible for the distribution of funds and administration of public mental health, alcohol and drug addiction services in Geauga County.

The Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services has elected new officers for state fiscal year 2019.

At the June 20 board meeting, Alberta Chokshi was elected chairman, Ann Bagley vice chairman, Lisa Cavasinni secretary and David Welty treasurer.

The mental health board is responsible for the distribution of funds and administration of public mental health, alcohol and drug addiction services in Geauga County.

It is the primary responsibility of the board to develop, promote and monitor services, facilities and programs that are responsive to the behavioral health care needs of the citizens of Geauga County.
