Munson Twp. Memorabilia
Munson Township will be celebrating its bicentennial in 2016. The Board of Trustees is asking anyone in Munson and/or Geauga County who may have any historic items that can be displayed, including photos, letters, souvenirs of events held in Munson or anything suitable for this celebration, to bring items to the township office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If requested, items will be returned after the celebration.

Dog Licenses for 2016
Dog licenses for 2016 are now available at the Geauga County Auditor’s office, 231 Main St., Suite 1-A, Chardon. Fee is $15 per license if purchased before Jan. 31, 2016. An O-ring is included. S-hooks and rivets are available on request.

Nature-Loving Holiday Gifts
The Geauga Soil & Water Con-servation District (GSWCD) offers gifts that keep on giving, including birdfeeders and boxes, rain barrels, compost tumblers and gift certificates for the GSWCD’s annual tree sale and fish sale. Visit the GSWCD in the Patterson Center on the Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton Mon-day through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

At the Senior Center
The Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Munson, offers free home delivered Christmas dinners to seniors, 60 years and older, who will be home alone on Christmas Day. Reservations must be made no later than Dec. 15 by calling 440-279-2130.
The Geauga Sweet Strings will present “A Dulcimer Christmas” Dec. 15 at 1 p.m.; Geauga Renaissance Singers will present Christmas music Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.; and on Dec. 18 from 12:30-2 p.m., there will be a senior center Christmas Party with Ron Papaleo.

Food Addicts in Recovery
The next meeting of Food Addicts in Recovery (FAIR) will be held Dec. 16 from 7:30-8 p.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson. The weekly meetings are free and offer support and nutritional information to those seeking to lose weight and remain healthy.
