Help Me Grow
The Geauga Help Me Grow program serves pregnant women and families with children from birth to three years of age. Help is offered with preparation for birth, developmental screenings, locating services for children with special needs and much more.

At the Senior Center
Congressman David Joyce will be the guest speaker Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Munson. Congressman Joyce will speak on “Keeping Seniors Safe from Mail Fraud.”
Also at the Chardon Senior Center, a January birthday bash with entertainment by Ralph Szubski will be held from 12-1 p.m. Jan. 20.
Tax assistance to all seniors, 60 years and older, will be available by appointment at the Chardon Senior Center starting Feb. 1.

Food Addicts in Recovery
Those who have made a New Year’s resolution to lose weight are welcome to attend the next meeting of Food Addicts in Recovery (FAIR) Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson.

Amateur Radio Association
The Geauga Amateur Radio Association (GARA) will meet at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Geauga Emergency Operation Center 12513 Merritt Road, Munson. The monthly meetings are free and open to all “hams” and those interested in becoming familiar with this type of international talk radio.

At the Rookery
The Geauga Park District extends an invitation to a Winter’s Night of Fireside Songs & Stories on Jan. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. at The Rookery in Munson. There will be winter themed stories and songs for all ages.
