National Day Of Prayer

Huntsburg Congregational Church and Huntsburg Baptist Church will lead the 62nd National Day of Prayer observance at 6 p.m. May 2. Gather around the flagpole at the Huntsburg Township Memorial Park located at the intersection of state routes 528 and 322.

Animal Blessing, Adoption Day with Rose’s Rescue

A Blessing of the Animals and adoption day with Roses Rescue will be held May 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Church of the Angels, 12550 Chillicothe Road in Chesterland.

The community is invited to bring animal loved ones to share in a day of healing, insights and love

Donations gratefully accepted. All proceeds will benefit both the church and Roses Rescue, a 501c3 pet rescue.

Personal readings, spiritual healing and fellowship will be offered inside the church for the owner and pet. A donation of $15 for reading and healing is suggested.

All pets must remain outside of the church building and must be kept on leash or in suitable carriers.

Federated Church VBS

Federated Church Family Life Center will hold Gods Backyard Bible Camp under the sun June 10-14 from 9 a.m. to noon. Children preschool age through fourth grade will learn how to serve Jesus and others through Bible adventures, music, games, crafts and fun.

Cost is $35 per child/$75 maximum per family plus adult volunteer commitment.

Registration forms may be picked up at the Federated Church, 76 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls, The Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township, or online at www.fedchurch.org.
