House Guest or House Pest?

Nov. 18, 2-3 p.m.

Learn what is beneficial (or not) to let live in one’s home at the program held at the West Woods Nature Center.Naturalist Karie Wheaton will share why she keeps spiders in her house and who to call if homeowners find they’ve been invaded by yellow jackets.Registration is not required.

Home Sweet Habitat Scavenger Hunt

Nov. 24, 1-3 p.m.

Drop in anytime during program hours at The West Woods to explore nature’s habitats with a fun indoor scavenger hunt where participants can meet some animal friends, play games and win a prize. Complete five activities and win a choice of Wild Ohio Magazine, plus get entered into a drawing for maple syrup produced at Swine Creek Reservation.
