Dan Ruminski will speak in the parish center about the Millionaires’ Row Women.
On Sept. 18-25, the group will be going on a bus trip to Canada, with stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Niagara Falls. A passport is needed. Cost is $1,425 per person, double occupancy ($1,445 for non-members). Total payment is due at sign up.
An overnight New Year’s Eve trip is planned at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana, Ohio. Payment must be made by Sept. 10. A great evening is planned including a Frank Sinatra tribute show by Michael Sonata with a 12-piece orchestra, a fantastic steak and shrimp dinner, a kielbasa and kraut buffet at midnight, non-alcoholic beverages all night, breakfast in the morning and a casino on the way home. BYOB. Also included is an antique auto museum. Cost is $220, with a $50 deposit due at sign up with the balance due by Sept. 10.

Out Of County Medical Transportation
The Geauga County Department on Aging provides the Out of County Medical Transport program to Geauga County seniors 60 and over to designated parts of Lake, Cuyahoga, Portage, Ashtabula and Trumbull counties, and the city of Twinsburg. Transportation is available Monday through Friday on a first-come, first-serve basis and has vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts.
It is a curb-to-curb service and individuals need to be able to get in and out of the medical buildings on their own. A family member or attendant can also ride with the senior.
When calling to book a ride, please provide the doctor’s name, address and phone number; the appointment date and time and approximately how long the appointment may last.
There is no fee for the program, although donations are accepted.
