Matter of Balance Classes
University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and the Geauga Department on Aging are sponsoring Matter of Balance classes to Geauga seniors 60 and older interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength and learning how to identify and control their fear of falling.
Class will be held every Tuesday and Friday, May 5-29, from 1-3 p.m. in room B167 on the first floor of the Geauga County Office Building in Chardon.

Montville Senior Trash Pickup
May 7 and 8
Montville Township Trustees are joining the Geauga County Department on Aging to offer senior trash pickup days to Montville seniors ages 60 and older.
Seniors who wish to receive trash pickup assistance must first register with the department on aging and complete the trash pickup intake by April 30 or earlier.
Road crew and department on aging staff cannot enter homes. Items must be clearly marked “Montville Trash Pickup” and placed outside the garage, home or outbuildings on May 6, the evening before the pickup. Do not leave items curbside.
There is a limit of 10 items per household.
