Cleanup Days Volunteers Needed
The Geauga County Department on Aging is in need of volunteers from all over the county to help during the 2015 Geauga Fall Cleanup Days for seniors. The event will kick off Oct. 23 and run through November.
Many seniors can no longer rake their yards or flowerbeds, weed, clean up yard debris or wash windows. This is where volunteers can make a difference.
By volunteering just a few hours of time, you can help a senior citizen remain independent and allow them to live in a safe, clean environment. Seniors all over Geauga County are in need of the fall yard cleanup program.
Individuals or groups can register to volunteer with the department on aging by calling Kristen Bibby, volunteer coordinator, or Bob Debevits, home maintenance coordinator, at 440-279-2130, 440-279- 2138 or 440-279-2135 ext. 2130, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Holiday Meal Volunteers Needed

Preparation and organization assistance begins at 10 a.m. and runs until noon, while drivers arrive at 11:15 a.m. to deliver the holiday meals.
All meals are delivered from the Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon.
