Mail Fraud Protection

Congressman Dave Joyce will present “Keeping Seniors Safe from Mail Fraud” at the Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive in Chardon. Learn how to identify the “red flags” and avoid becoming a victim of a scam.
Sponsored by the Geauga County Department on Aging, the event and refreshments are free.

Senior Information Brochure
The Geauga County Department on Aging has updated the information and services brochure for citizens who are 60 years of age or older. Inside the updated brochure is information on the department on aging, other government agencies and not for profit and for profit organizations.
The first section of the brochure lists programs offered by the Geauga County Department on Aging, which include: home delivered meals, in county transportation (vouchers), out- of-county medical transportation, care coordination, chore and home safety, adult day service, senior center events, educational classes and more.
The second section of the brochure provides information on other organizations, such as: assisted living facilities, long term care facilities, emergency response systems, PASSPORT, respite, home health care and more.
