Water Aerobics Classes

Chardon Senior Center will offer water aerobics classes at Punderson Pool Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, Jan. 12 and running through Thursday, March 3. The class will meet from 10-10:45 a.m.

Cost for eight sessions, or one class a week, is $50. Cost is $100 for all 16 sessions, or class twice a week. Payment will be due at first class/session to Sue Fazekas.

To sign up for classes and receive a 2016 Geauga County Department on Aging registration form, call the department on aging at 440-279-2130.

One must be registered with the Geauga County Department on Aging to participate in any/all programs.

Safety Tips from Santa: Dec. 17, 11 a.m. It’s going to be a merry time as Santa makes a special appearance to give a talk on home safety.

Home Delivered Holiday Meals

The Geauga County Department on Aging will offer a free traditional meal to any Geauga County seniors, age 60 and older, who will be home and alone on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

A friendly volunteer will deliver a hot holiday meal to the senior’s home and spend a little time visiting on Christmas.

If one is or knows a senior citizen that would like a holiday meal, call the department on aging at 440-279-2130.
