UPDATE: Missing Teenage Girl Found in Painesville

A 15-year-old female from Claridon Township went missing last week and the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help locate her.

A 15-year-old female from Claridon Township who went missing last week was located in Painesville July 19 and taken into custody, according to the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.

Myah Patton, who reportedly left her residence at 2 a.m. July 12, was last known to be in the Painesville City area, according to a July 17 post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.

“Last time she left, she was found in Painesville,” sheriff’s deputies said in their report. “She doesn’t drive.”

The sheriff’s office asked that anyone who had information about Myah’s location contact the sheriff’s office.

Geauga County Sheriff Scot Hildenbrand said Tuesday Myah was transported to the Portage Geauga Juvenile Detention Center with an expected appearance in juvenile court tomorrow.
