CITIZEN DISPUTE
Dec. 18
1:33 p.m., Stafford Road, Auburn. Neighbors are constantly shooting guns near our property and yesterday the noise scared a horse and a rider was injured. Would like to speak to a deputy to have them address the issue. Advice given.
Dec. 24
9:27 p.m., Kinsman Road, Punderson State Park, Newbury. Cabins 25 and 26 are fighting with cabin 3 over the communal fire pit, unknown if physical, unknown intoxication. The customer at cabin 3 was not welcome at the community fire pit by the customers in cabin 25. There was not argument that either party admitted. Clear.
FRAUD
Dec. 21
7:15 p.m., Ravenna Road, Newbury. Caller would like to speak with an officer about a scam call she received today. Caller states the caller said her son was in jail in Florida and she needed to send bond money to get him out. She states she sent $3,200 for bond. Deputy advised. Report taken.
Dec. 24
5:41 p.m., Woodbury Drive, Newbury. Male was scammed online. He transferred $2,900 to a company that stole it from him. Male in lobby to turn in more evidence.
SUSPICIOUS
Dec. 18
1:46 a.m., Thompson Road, Thompson. Checking two vehicles at Thompson Ledges. Deputy located two vehicles at the Ledges. Two males walked out of the darkness and one male immediately entered his van and appeared to conceal something. Male said he was putting his keys in the van. A consent search of the van produced a large amount of suspected marijuana shake and seeds. A consent search of other male produced no contraband. Both males left the park.
THEFT
Dec. 22
3:14 p.m., Mayfield Road, Claridon. Lobby call for theft. Time/date occurred is written as 05-30-86. Spoke with complainant who just forgot what she did 29 years ago. No theft occurred.
THREATENING
Dec. 22
9:08 a.m., Bundysburg Road, Huntsburg. Teenage son threatened to kill me with a gun in my sleep this morning. He is at school. Ongoing issue with him. Deputy advised. Call clear.
WEAPONS OFFENSE
Dec. 24
11:49 a.m., Bradford Road, Parkman. Neighbors were shooting yesterday. Today I noticed they shot up trees on my property. I would like to speak with an officer and get this on report. Advice on the law regarding shooting in the woods.
