Citizen Dispute
Feb. 15
12:51 p.m., Oaktree Lane, Troy. Daughters mother took daughters iPod away because she said we didnt ask for permission for her to have it. It was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It is linked to my credit card and I want it back. Daughters mother also throws away any clothes that I purchase for her. Daughters mother is scheduled to meet with JFS for a mental evaluation but did not know when. She is totally uncooperative. Just want the iPod back so daughter can enjoy it and so no charges are made on my account. Male was advised it was civil.
Disorderly
Feb. 16
10:10 p.m., Main Market Road, Parkman. Report of three males fighting in the middle of the road. There are also two cars in the ditch in the same area. Checked area. GOA/UTL.
Domestic Dispute
Feb. 17
5:55 p.m., Kinsman Road, Middlefield. Caller states her boyfriend has been drinking all day, accusing the caller of sleeping with her daughters boyfriend. No weapons in the house. Deputy spoke with woman who stated she and caller were arguing about her allegedly having a relationship with another man. She also stated he has been consuming alcohol all day and wont listen to her when she told him she didnt have relations with anyone else. There was no violence or threats of violence. Both were given advice.
Drugs/Alcohol
Feb. 15
7:28 a.m., Old State Road, Claridon. Twenty-seven-year-old male overdose, heart is racing. Moaning but not coherent. There is a syringe and mother believes it is heroin. Feb. 17
10:37 p.m., Kinsman Road, Middlefield. Male on the phone, intoxicated. He is upset because his girlfriend left the house and took his belongings, including his tobacco. He wants same deputies to return. Deputy located the items in his truck. He was happy and apologetic. Advice given.
Property Damage
Feb. 15
1:06 p.m., Cloverdale Drive, Middlefield. TP and eggs everywhere. Deputy observed approximately three eggs thrown at residence. TP on front tree and in front of garage on ground. Occurred after 7 p.m. last evening. Garbage cans also knocked over at the residence and residence across the street. Extra patrol requested.
Suspicious
Feb. 18
7:05 p.m., Jug Street, Troy. Complainant just received a phone call. The male calling stated he needed to arrange a meeting to exchange information in regards to a car crash. Caller has not been in a crash and did not leave a note on the unknown males car, like he claimed. Complainant believes this is some kind of scam. A friend of his received this same type of message approximately a month ago.
Feb. 20
9:35 a.m., Merritt Road, Claridon. Strange message on answering machine. Request deputy to come over. Male called at 8:41 p.m. from a blocked telephone number. Male upset about paying taxes. No threats were made. Recording saved if harassment continues.
Feb. 21
10:01 a.m., Fowlers Mill Road, Munson. Is receiving suspicious phone calls advising her there have been a lot of burglaries and thefts in her area. The people on the line without names tell her they can come out and put alarm signs in her yard. Deputy advised. Knocked on door and rang door bell; appears nobody is home. Dispatch also tried calling back. No answer.
Theft
Feb. 18
8:09 p.m., Oaktree Lane, Troy. Caller advised his daughter took his iPod home to her residence on accident and her mother found it. Now the mother refused to give it back to caller and told him she threw it away.
Threatening
Feb. 15
7:03 p.m., Ravenna Road, Munson. Callers 16-year-old son receiving threatening text messages from another male, 18. Report to follow.
