Animal Problem
March 13
3:06 p.m., Tavern Road, Parkman. Check the welfare of the horse tied to a telephone pole inside a pasture. The caller just drove by and the horse was freaking out. He stopped to check on the animal and found it was tied so far up the pole that the horse was unable to put its head down to eat or drink. Training the horse.
Citizen Dispute
March 11
2:55 p.m., Madison Road, Huntsburg. Female in lobby to report her neighbors continue to call in complaints against them for no reason and would like to speak with a deputy.
Fraud
March 12
2:07 p.m., Plank Road, Montville. Possible scam involving baseball cards. They look real, but they are not, but are good. Out of Michigan, around $5,000. Civil matter. No crime and not GCSO jurisdiction. Advice given.
Citizen Assist
March 9
2:15 p.m., Rock Creek Road, Thompson. My neighbor has a computer and knows police, and said that I am being watched. There was a Crown Victoria and a blue van in the area watching my trailer according to my wife. Deputy advised. Concerned that law enforcement is watching him. Deputy spoke to him on the phone. Advice was given.
Suspicious
March 9
8:37 p.m., Kinsman Road, Newbury. Group of people were out in front of the shop unloading a truck. The caller asked what was going on the group became confrontational and called the male a weirdo. Caller has gone back inside and will wait to meet with deputy.
March 14
5 p.m., Main Market Road, Troy. Reported to JFS this afternoon that 14-year-old bought drugs and they are supposed to be delivered to his house today. No one knows what time this is supposed to occur.
Domestic Dispute
March 14
1:59 p.m., Ravenna Road, Newbury. Male is threatening to shoot us. No gun though. He is my husbands brother. Just him and I in the house. He is drunk. Cops were here last night and warned him. One male arrested; report taken.
Harassment
March 9
7:47 a.m., Clay Street, Montville. This incident occurred via text, Facebook and a fight at Ledgemont High. It involves my daughter and another student, and her mother. The school was going to let caller know if she should file a report and they never got back to her. Incident is being handled by school. Advice given.
5:04 p.m., Paulette Drive, Burton. My sister has called again and is leaving messages that I am going to go down. She is upset because I will not allow her at my home. We just met with deputies. Deputy advised.
Juvenile Problem
March 8
2:44 p.m., Kinsman Road, Newbury. Cops were just out here last week when my mom was drinking. I just got suspended from school and I am afraid she is going to beat me. She is due home at 3:30 p.m. Want to talk to a deputy. Advice given; no report.
Threatening
March 9
5:44 p.m., Leader Road, Hambden. Eleven-year-old neighbor threatening to shoot callers 10-year-old son and 12-year-old friend with a .44 magnum. No gun seen, but told callers son he would get it out of the shed and shoot them and rip their hearts out. Neighbor went back to his residence on Nicki Lane. Boys did get into a physical altercation today and thats when neighbor threatened to shoot callers son and his friend. Call clear.
