Animal Problem
May 10
12:20 p.m., Nash Road, Troy. Goat stuck in a barbed wire fence. Goat freed from fence.
May 12
3:42 p.m., Auburn Road, Auburn. Injured red tail hawk on Auburn between Bell and Washington. Caller is in the area of the Auburn marsh and wildlife area. Game warden was paged. Per the game warden, move the bird into the wooded area and let nature take its course. Hawk scampered off into the woods.
Citizen Dispute
May 15
4:19 a.m., Claridon Troy Rod, Hambden. Argument with girlfriend. No weapons or alcohol. Personal issues with girlfriend. Male thinks girlfriend is having affair with girl next door. House is bugged and there are cameras in the sky. Advice given regarding concerns surrounding relationship.

2:57 p.m., Greentree Lane, Troy. Neighbor who they have nothing to do with is giving out their number to creditors.
Suspicious
May 10
10:53 a.m., Club Lane, Auburn. Caller wants to report computer scam. Spoke with caller who advised she recently had a new router installed on her computer. After, an unknown company called to provide tech support for her and accessed her IP address/computer. Caller believes she is being scammed. Deputy advised caller to contact Internet provider and swap router for a new one, new IP address. Advice given. No follow up to be conducted. Caller wanted on record that his event happened.
May 13
6:38 p.m., Maplewood Drive, Burton. Complainant received a phone call from a male selling tickets for the Geauga County Sheriffs Office. Unknown name and organization and unlisted phone number. Male stated tickets were for a concert at Perry High School and were to support Geauga and Lake County Sheriffs Office. Complainant does not need to meet with a deputy; she just wants deputies to be aware of the scam that is going around.
May 15
2:46 p.m., Mayfield Road, Munson. Panhandling in business lobby. Spoke with caller who wanted to advise GCSO that a skinny male, approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 entered the mental health center and solicited staff for a donation for a non-profit cause. Caller felt bad for male and gave him $5. Male then quickly left and fled in a silver van with one out-of-state license plate. Male walked with limp and carried cane. Caller afraid subject may return to location and solicit again. No crime committed. Incident docu-mented.
May 16
9:16 a.m., Bell Street, Newbury. Deputy spoke with complainant who was selling tires on craigslist. She received an email stating a check would come FedEx for more than tires were being sold and that she should send balance of the check back to him. Advised a scam and to discard the check.
Theft
May 10
6:44 p.m., Chestnut Drive, Newbury. Has a large amount of money missing from his house. He would like a deputy to come over. He believes it is his neighbor. Report taken.
May 11
2:02 p.m., Crackel Road, Auburn. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. someone is stealing parts off farm machinery while I am away.
May 14
11:33 a.m., Clay Street, Montville. Theft complaint in the lobby. Spouse has returned the pills to his residence. No further action required.
