Agency Assist
May 3
10:06 a.m., East Washington Street, Chagrin Falls. Requesting explosives K-9. Kid came into the high school, said he had a backpack with explosives. The backpack was checked; no explosives, but we want the school checked. Search warrant address is on Coy Lane in Chagrin Falls.
Animal Problem
May 3
8:20 a.m., Chickashay Lane, Auburn. Neighbors dogs are running loose, six or seven King Charles Cavaliers. My kids are afraid to ride their bikes. Caller also was advised to call the dog warden. Deputy checked. The dogs are harmless and all have active Invisible Fence collars.

8:47 a.m., Bartholomew Road, Auburn. Coyote is trying to get my dog. Caller hung up. Called back twice; fax machine picks up.

2:05 p.m., Tavern Road, Burton. Young calf, Holstein type, heading toward Burton.
6:40 p.m., Butternut Road, Burton. Female asked a passerby to call police. She found an injured horse on the side of the road; it appears to have a broken leg. They do not know who the owner is, but possibly attempted to jump out of a pasture in the area and fell into the ditch. Animal got up under its own power and the owner is with it. Owner advises the neighbors dog scared the horse. Dog warden number given to horse owner regarding neighbor dog issues.
Citizen Assist
May 4
1:39 p.m., Washington Street, Auburn. Would like to speak with a deputy about some drug activity involving her son. Prefer not to meet at the house. Found a syringe in the mailbox this morning. Advice was given to the complainant about her son. Complainant given deputys name and phone number for information.
Drugs/Alcohol
May 6
10:57 a.m., Ravenwood Drive, Claridon. Need to file a report for possible fraud. Spoke with case investigator on phone. She received information that a food stamp recipient is possibly selling food stamps for drugs/vice versa. Deputy advised caller he would forward information to sheriffs office detective bureau to follow-up on tip received by caller. Caller said she is obligated to report this type of information to law enforcement when she becomes aware of it. Deputy forwarded this information to appropriate sheriffs office personnel.
Suspicious
May 5
8:21 a.m., Rapids Road, Troy. Male on Rapids Road walking. Male was bird watching.
May 6
8:56 p.m., High Street, Parkman.. Floating bags on fire in the air. Caller saw 10 to 12 of these. Candle lanterns. UTL/GOA.
May 7
6:35 p.m., Wilson Mills Road, Chester. Caller is behind an erratic driver. She can see a man and a woman with a baby in the back. Said it appeared the man was hitting the woman. She could see the woman put her hands up to cover herself. Spoke with female. She is OK. Was having an argument but there was no violence.

7:21 a.m., Stillwell Road, Claridon. Not sure of anything is missing. Overnight someone cut a big hole into the side of my barn.
Theft

12:02 p.m., Auburn Road, Auburn. Engagement ring with wedding band and husbands band are missing. Last time worn was March 26.
Threatening
May 3
10:42 a.m., Chardon Windsor Road, Huntsburg. Received a voice message that someone wants to murder me. I dont know when it came to my phone. I am at work currently. I will come to the sheriffs office after work or will call and have an officer come to my house.
Unauthorized use
May 8
6:33 p.m., Nicki Lane, Hambden. Caller states she made an agreement to sell her vehicle. She states she allowed him to drive the vehicle until he paid it off on her expired plates and so far he has only paid $100 to her. She states she still holds the title and she wants a deputy to get her car back. She states male will not return the vehicle, states the vehicle is parked somewhere, but will not say where. Report taken.
