Sixth-Grade Camp
Notre Dame Middle School sixth-graders were off to camp at Hiram House the week of Sept. 18. For three days and two nights under the guidance of camp counselors, the students learned archery, rock wall climbing and canoeing as well as different levels of rope courses.
During their arts and crafts time, the students did a beautiful job painting rocks and weaving brightly colored key rings. At night they gathered around the campfire for songs, stories and s’mores.
The students enjoyed three days of playing outside, walking in the woods and making new friends. Special thanks go to Mrs. Sue Ball, Mrs. Susan Sabol and Mrs. Kathleen Stefancin for putting so much time and effort into making sure the sixth-graders had a great camping experience.
